Description
The SoM-350ES is a compact, low-power SoM Carrier/Socket board with an optional 7” WVGA (800 x 480) or the 10″ WSVGA (1024 X 600) color LCD and resistive touch screen. This versatile SoM Carrier/Socket board is ideal for evaluation and early development work. This Carrier is designed to work with all EMAC 314-pin MXM EM4C G2 Spec SODIMM type SoMs. Note: The SoM-350ES is specifically designed for EMAC 314 pin SoMs. The SoM-350ES provides access to much of the SoM’s I/O through onboard connectors as well as a number of additional I/O expansion blocks such as Video, Touchscreen, Dual Gigabit Ethernet, Mini-PCIe, mSATA and Micro HCSD/MMC flash disk. When mated with an ARM SOM module this carrier board becomes an ARM SBC with PCIe from a Mini-PCIe socket and a second Mini-PCIe socket wired with SATA signals for an mSATA socket. Providing ARM PCIe lines to the mini-PCIe socket.
- Graphic LCD, HDMI, LVDS, & DSI Interfaces
- SD Socket, mSATA Socket, mini-PCIe Socket

EMAC is a global leader in system on module and carrier board embedded systems. The System on Module (SoM) is an ideal alternative to custom engineering. With the SoM approach you get the best of aspects of both buying an Off-The-Shelf Embedded Single Board Computer (SBC) and a Custom Engineered solution. With Off-The-Shelf embedded components such as a generic carrier board and SOM module, it is possible to start development on your software applications before the custom carrier board is complete; thus offering a reduced time to market for your system. A System on Module (SoM) is comprised of a small processor module with CPU bus accessibility and standard I/O functionality. The SoM module does not have any connectorization and is designed to be plugged into a Carrier Board.
