The VDX3-PCI PICMG 1.0 Half-sized PCI SBC is a long-life planned CPU module compliant with ISA standards, offering a 10+ year production life. It takes the advantage of DM&P Vortex86DX3 1GHz x86 Dual-Core CPU which integrates the SATA, I2C, VGA, LVDS, PS/2, USB, HD Audio, and even the 32-bit PCI bus support.
The VDX3-PCI is designed as a plug-in replacement, with backward compatibility to support legacy software to help extend the existing product life cycle without heavy re-engineering.

The Vortex86DX3 CPU speed is adjustable via custom BIOS to lower processing speeds to reduce legacy application problems.
The same as the VDX3-6724 ISA board, VDX3-PCI is an industrial-grade PICMG 1.0 half-size PCI SBC based on the DM&P Vortex86DX3 1GHz SoC, which is designed to keep your applications operating and relying on PCI communication with other I/O modules.
Featured with high I/O integrity, VDX3-PCI is equipped with 2GB DDR3 memory, supporting industrial I/O such as LVDS, Giga Ethernet, 2x COM, PCI, SATA DoM, etc. It operates in temperature environments ranging from -40° up to +85°C and can be powered up under sub-zero conditions. It is a perfect embedded solution for applications requiring PCI communication and for developers looking for PCI support to keep existing applications running.

The LCD Panel Kit with the Touchscreen option in conjunction with the Flash Disk, makes for a Solid State Embedded computer system that is ideal for rugged, wide temperature, and low downtime environments. If you cannot find exactly what you need from our large Off-The-Shelf selection, EMAC can potentially customize any hardware or software component, and additionally offer driver development and software application programming, providing you with the perfect fit for their SBC application needs. EMAC supports and can install the following Embedded Operating Systems on Hard Drive or Flash Disk: Embedded Linux, Xenomi Development Framework, ROMDOS, Windows CE, and Windows Embedded Standard, Windows 10 IoT or Windows 10 IoT Core.
