The SEMI-V2K4 is an Embedded Server based on the AMD RYZEN™ V2000 Embedded Processor SBC PICO-V2K4 Pico-ITX SBC Board. The PICO-V2K4-SEMI supplies the REQUIRES Heat spreader and cooling solution as part of the enclosure.
The PICO-V2K4-SEMI is a PICO-ITX Mini-PC, and its first to be powered by the AMD Ryzen™ Embedded V2000 Series Processor platform. Boasting up to 8 cores and 16 threads, alongside 7nm processing technology, LPDDR4x onboard system memory, and AMD Radeon™ graphics, the PICO-V2K4-SEMI offers truly elite performance in compact, energy-efficient Mini-PC form. Its small form factor is stacked with attributes such as dual ethernet speeds up to 2.5GbE, 64GB onboard NVMe storage, and 3 independent display ports capable of 4K resolution. As such, the PICO-V2K4-SEMI is targeted towards edge computing, embedded gaming, and image processing applications.

Intricate Image Processing with AMD Radeon™ Graphics
Utilizing its AMD Radeon™ Graphics and 64GB onboard NVMe storage, the PICO-V2K4-SEMI enhances embedded gaming with its support for up to 3 simultaneous 4K displays via HDMI 2.0b, HDMI 1.4, and DP ports. Also equipped with 2.5 GbE, USB 3.2, and dual COM ports, the PICO-V2K4-SEMI accommodates peripheral cameras and sensors for advanced image processing applications.
Industrial Market Versatility Through Expansive Connectivity
The PICO-V2K4-SEMI provides a wealth of connectivity and expansion options conducive to various industrial applications. Three USB 3.2, four USB 2.0, and two COM ports supporting RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 give the PICO-V2K4-SEMI the capacity to integrate multiple sensors, while its high-speed onboard memory enhances data transmission speed. Additionally, the device possesses additional storage options, with a mini card slot providing mSATA or mPCIe expansion alongside dual storage support in the form of an M.2 2280 M-Key for SATA III.

Comprised of a compact 4.80” x 3.18” x 2.13” (122mm x 80.8mm x 54 mm) chassis weighing less than 1lb., the PICO-V2K4-SEMI is easily integrated with existing infrastructure.
The AMD Ryzen™ Embedded V2000 processor family is built on the groundbreaking “Zen 2” x86 core architecture with innovative 7nm process technology and optimized high-performance Radeon™ graphics in an SoC design. Offering 2x generational uplift in performance per watt and 15% more instructions per clock, doubling the Core count of the AMD Ryzen Embedded V1000 Zen processors. Offering 4K60 10b Video Decode or Encode from the integrated Radeon graphics processor. The Radeon Graphics Compute Unit Count is 6 or 7 depending on CPU.
Running at 4.15 GHz, and featuring up to 8 cores and 16 threads, the V2000 Series provides unprecedented performance levels, significant design enhancements, and incredible power efficiency for embedded applications such as Thin Client, Mini PC, Edge and other systems. The AMD Ryzen Embedded V2000 SOC Processor has a planned product availability of at least 10 years.

The onboard Intel i210/i226 Ethernet controller supports IEEE 1588/802.1AS precision time synchronization for use in Time-sensitive networking. As well as IEEE1588/802.1AS Precision Time Stamping and Time stamping of network traffic. while the Hardware supports IEEE 1588 protocols the operating system must also support these communications needs.
